Estas están basadas en blockchain, propias del metaverso, por ejemplo MANA, una plataforma que es utilizada para mover el comercio en Decentraland. Esta moneda, un token de Ethereum, permite comprar terrenos, bienes y servicios virtuales. Es así como el intercambio —como sucede en la vida ‘real’— entre monedas físicas y monedas digitales supone un intercambio de activos.
