Andres Teran
Andres has 10 years of experience in the corporate, technology, media and telecommunications areas, as well as in regulated sectors in the main industries; telecommunications, renewable and non-renewable energy, entertainment, financial, hotel and tourism and insurance.
In the area of Technology, Telecommunications and Data Protection, Andrés advises domestic and foreign clients in digital business, implementation of technological tools and instruments, protection and licensing of software, disruptive technologies (OTT’s), regulatory compliance, implementation of the obligations of the Personal Data Protection Law, among others.
Andrés leads HekaTech, a spin-off of Heka Law Firm where he provides services focused on the efficiency and technification of legal processes, based on technology.
In the Corporate area, he focuses his services on shareholder agreements, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracting and structuring.
Studies
Andrés holds a law degree from Universidad de las Américas and a master’s degree in Telecommunications, Data Protection, Audiovisual and Information Society Law from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
