Alfonso is a Certified Public Accountant CPA and Commercial Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador. He holds an MBA in Management Control from the University of La Rioja UNIR, an MBA in Hydrocarbon Industry Management from the University of Viña del Mar and a Diploma in IFRS from the University of Aconcagua.
