Ever Borja is a lawyer who graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (PUCE) in 2026. Throughout his studies he combined academic training with hands-on practice through internships at public institutions, law firms and legal aid clinics, strengthening his analytical skills across several areas of the profession.
He served as a legal intern in PUCE's Administrative and Financial department, leading the "Towards Administrative Efficiency" project, which involved systematizing and drafting institutional policy and regulations governing administrative, financial and accounting processes.
On the tax side, he worked as a legal trainee at MGR-TaxAssurance & Legal Advice, preparing legal documents, tax law research, client bulletins and case follow-up for domestic and international clients. He previously interned with the Legal Department of the Central Bank of Ecuador, handling filings before the judicial complex, the Attorney General's Office and ministries, and assisting with case file review and the drafting of claims and responses.
He also completed pre-professional practice at PUCE's free legal aid clinics in the Human Mobility area, handling appeals against refugee status denials and drafting information requests and case follow-up filings. At HEKA he is part of the administrative and tax law team.
